Hi every body,
I think the first piece of advice I would give to every one is, after choosing a topic work on your thesis, more than likely you will have to change your thesis a few times. After you get a thesis you start on the research this will more than likely help you to narrow your thesis and pick the right information to fill out your paper. For me the thesis was as important as the outline because it helped me to tailor an outline, after that the rest was just finding credible information and reading articles, picking the ones with the best information and then I wrote what I read about, as if I was telling it to someone.

Topics I would like to research
What other topics would you like to research?
I have always loved history and I often find my self needing to investigate any subject I run across but don't have a lot of the answers to, and it seems research has combined the two in some cases with that being said, i think I would really like to research such topics such as medical marijuana (which was my first paper), aliens/area 51, Gliese 581g -the new planet, Bermuda Triangle, life after death experiences, pyramids of ancient Egypt, ancient Celtic customs, and probably a few others I cant think of.

My future plans for blogging
I plan to keep on blogging after this term is over. I've started looking at other blogs and finding topics that interest me. Blogging is becoming really interesting, I especially like blogs with art work and quotes and things that encourage and give advice. I have not been able to devote a lot of time to my blogging this class but I try to meet requirements. We have such a small class I was not surprised by the limited amount of comments on my blog.

Peer Reviews
I think peer reviews are good, it may even help us to look critically at our own work before we turn it in. I think if we look at each others work and think, how can I help this person to make their project or paper better, not how do I find all the things wrong with it, peer reviews become very important. I also believe having a fresh perspective helps, because when we have been looking at our own paper for a few weeks it becomes harder to spot some of the flaws, so when someone else looks at it before we turn it in for a grade they will almost always catch something we did not see or was unsure about, so all in all peer review is a good thing.

Last six weeks
My life in the last six weeks have really been exciting, I'm really close to getting my degree and I have been learning so many new things at Kaplan and in general. I'm enjoying classes a lot this term. This term I began to understand the importance of writing well. I have really worked harder at taking more care when I complete an assignment. This six weeks has went by so fast and it puts me one step closer to obtaining my degree.

Life...
Hi class and professor this week I'm going to veer from my normal routine and try something new in my blog...
"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how". ~Friedrich Nietzsche
"Here is the test to find whether your mission on earth is finished". If you're alive, it isn't. ~Richard Bach
To me these quotes are about finding your place and your purpose in this life. I think when we know what we are meant to do in life, living life becomes a lot easier when we face difficult times. This is how I deal with most challenges in life including school, I remember my goals.

Being an online student
Hello classmates and professor
I really like being an online student because of the flexibility, for the most part I have had really good professors. They have been very helpful. I have not reality considered the anonymity of being online because if people are fake they Will be so on computers, phone and even in person. Most of the time other than seeing how the person looks, unless they share a picture, you still get to know them a little by the conversations, not as much interaction as being on campus but, enough to make friends if you chose to. Online classes are self-directed to a certain degree, which helps make them more flexible than a campus classroom.
I think blogs and discussions are a good start to creating a close classroom.
Until next time,
Faith
